On February 4, 2025, President Donald Trump hosted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House, marking Trump's first meeting with a foreign leader since his return to office. The discussions centered on the future of the Gaza Strip and regional security concerns.

Proposal for Gaza

President Trump unveiled a controversial plan to "take over" the Gaza Strip, aiming to resettle its 2.2 million Palestinian residents in countries such as Egypt and Jordan. He envisions transforming Gaza into the "Riviera of the Middle East" through extensive development projects, including dismantling unexploded ordnance and creating job opportunities. This approach represents a significant departure from longstanding U.S. policy and has elicited strong reactions from the international community.

Arab nations, including Egypt and Jordan, have previously rejected similar proposals, emphasizing their commitment to a two-state solution. The displacement of Palestinians is a particularly sensitive issue, with concerns about potential backlash and accusations of ethnic cleansing. Despite this, President Trump expressed confidence that other countries would eventually accept Palestinian refugees.

Iran's Nuclear Ambitions

Another focal point of the meeting was Iran's nuclear program. Both leaders agreed on the urgency of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. President Trump signed a memorandum to impose strict sanctions on Iran, aiming to reduce its oil exports and pressure Tehran into negotiations. Netanyahu praised Trump's leadership in ensuring Israel's security and highlighted the importance of the U.S.-brokered ceasefire in Gaza, which has been in effect since January 19.

Reactions and Implications

The proposed U.S. control of Gaza and the resettlement of its residents have sparked widespread debate. Critics argue that such actions could lead to prolonged military involvement and destabilize the region further. Comparisons have been drawn to past nation-building efforts in Iraq and Afghanistan, raising questions about the feasibility and long-term consequences of the plan.

In summary, the Trump-Netanyahu meeting underscored a shared commitment to addressing pressing Middle Eastern issues, particularly the challenges posed by Gaza and Iran. However, the strategies proposed, especially regarding Gaza, have ignited significant controversy in the international arena. The international reaction will not impede Trump or Netanyahu. The International Community / The United Nations have proven many times that they are untrustworthy when it comes to being fair to the Israel and The Jewish People. In most cases the UN's hundreds of countries have voted against Israel in every vote. The only one to vote in Israel's favor has been from the USA. Under Biden even that vote was not guaranteed.

The more Israel has given the more the Palestinians want. Israel gave them Gaza in return for peace. How has that worked out ? On day one of that agreement the Palestinian Terrorists launched missiles into Israel. Israel would be foolish to trust the Palestinians. "They haven't had an agreement that they haven't broken". The only thing they have proven is they will sign deals and they have broken all of them. The definition of insanity is repeating over the same behavior and expecting different results.

The only peace that can coexist with The Radical Islamic Terrorists is Peace through strength. Israel needs to rebuild its military might. Any type of terrorism will result in an immediate military action (the more immediate and effective the better). A two state solution would be the end of the Jewish People living in Israel. Israel gave to the Palestinians the West Bank and Gaza. The more Israel gives the more they want. As I stated the only Peace is Through Strength because the Radical Islamic Terrorists look at civilized negotiations as a weakness. They are correct it is a weakness because Israel expects trust and that is only a weakness to the Radical Islamic Terrorists. A two state solution would be the end of the Jews in Israel as well as Christianity, Peaceful Muslims and the hundreds of other religions that function in Israel. Any kind of archeology for these hundreds of religions will be torched and a mosque will go up in its place. Just as the Muslims planted two huge Mosques on the Temple Mount which is the most important holy place of the Jewish People. If you give the Radical Islamic Terrorists an inch they want a foot. Peace Through Strength. Period.
