The Silent Slaughter: Christians Under Siege Worldwide

(On the bottom of this article there is a long list of people / organizations and media outlets that can be contacted to express the lack of concern for the Christians who are being slaughtered around the world.) Take note that in many of these area's where Christians are being slaughtered they have the option of choosing to convert to Islam or die.

I am the son of a World War II survivor, my father was a

man who witnessed the unimaginable horrors of a

world gone mad. In Nazi Germany, 6 million Jews and

6 million non-Jews were slaughtered in a genocide that stained the earth with rivers of blood. The world stood still, silent and complicit, until the war’s end when it was far too late to save those who were murdered. That tragedy of epic proportions should have taught us a lesson; inaction in the face of evil is itself a crime. Yet here we are, decades later, watching another wave of barbaric slaughter—this time targeting Christians across the globe. These are not mere statistics; they are human beings, hunted and killed for their faith by barbaric animals who revel in cruelty. It is a crime against humanity, and it should be a crime of immorality for every person who knows of this atrocity and does nothing.

Let us learn from the mistakes of the past, rise up, and act before the silence buries millions more.

Israel can not survive without military aid from the USA. I am an Orthodox Jew amd my ancestoral homeland is Israel. Us Jews understand the gifts the US gives to make our existence possible. Why would the US and the rest of the world turn a blind eye to the slaughter of Christians around the world. Below is a list of areas in the world where Christians are being slaughtered because of their faith, followed by a list of organizations and media outlets we must demand action from. This is not a time for apathy, rather it is a time for outrage and accountability.

Areas Where Christians Are Being Slaughtered for Their Faith:

Nigeria remains one of the deadliest places for Christians, with thousands killed annually by Islamic extremist groups like Boko Haram and radicalized Fulani herdsmen. In 2023 alone, over 3,100 Christians were slaughtered, their villages razed, and their families torn apart. The violence is relentless, targeting Christian communities with impunity in the northern and central regions.

Syria

The ongoing civil war has left Christians vulnerable to slaughter by extremist factions, including remnants of ISIS.

In recent years, massacres have decimated Christian populations, with entire

villages wiped out. Reports of beheadings and executions continue to emerge as radical groups seek to eradicate Christianity from the region.

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC)

In the DRC, Islamic militants have unleashed terror on Christian communities, with a notable incident in early 2025 where 70 Christians were beheaded inside a church.

The eastern provinces are a killing field, where belief

in Christianity is a death sentence met with unimaginable brutality.

North Korea

Under the Kim regime, Christianity is a crime punishable by death. Christians found practicing their faith face execution, or are sent to labor camps where death comes slowly through torture and starvation. The slaughter is systematic, hidden behind the regime’s iron curtain.

Somalia

In Somalia, the extremist group al-Shabaab has vowed to eradicate Christians. Converts from Islam are hunted and killed on the spot, their bodies left as warnings. The Christian population, though small, lives under constant threat of slaughter by those enforcing a twisted ideology.

Afghanistan

Since the Taliban’s return to power, Christians—mostly converts from Islam—face immediate execution if discovered. The slaughter is quiet, often unreported, as believers are forced into hiding or killed without mercy by a regime that tolerates no dissent from its Islamic rule.

Pakistan

Blasphemy laws are a death warrant for Christians, who are falsely accused, lynched, or executed by mobs and extremists. Churches are bombed, and individuals are slaughtered in the streets,

with little protection from a government that often turns

a blind eye.

Burkina Faso

The rise of Islamist insurgencies in the Sahel has turned Burkina Faso into a slaughterhouse for Christians. In 2024, over 200 believers were killed - a fivefold increase from the previous year - as militants target priests, congregations, and entire villages.

Yemen

Amid the civil war, Iran-backed Houthi rebels and other extremists have made Yemen

a death trap for Christians. Secret believers face execution or forced conversion, with slaughter a common fate for those who refuse to renounce their faith.

Iraq

The legacy of ISIS lingers in Iraq, where Christian communities, once thriving, have been decimated. Slaughter continues as extremists target survivors, driving them from their ancestral homes with

violence and death.

Lets be active! Contact these organizations and media outlets to DEMAND ACTION to stop the slaughter of Christians. This is a global crisis, yet too many are turning a blind eye. Below is a list of organizations and media outlets we must pressure to raise awareness, demand justice, and take concrete steps to stop this barbarity. Write to them, call them, protest—do not let them ignore this bloodbath.

A Call to Action

The slaughter of Christians is not a distant problem, it is a moral emergency that demands our outrage and action.

The barbaric animals committing these acts thrive

in the shadows of our indifference, just as the Nazis did when the world turned away. Every person who knows of this and does nothing shares in the guilt. Contact these organizations and media outlets. Flood their inboxes, clog their phone lines, and march in the streets if you must. We failed 12 million souls in World War II—let us not fail millions more today. The lesson is clear: silence is complicity, and action is our duty.
